Abaco hurricane recovery

Check before you go, but my personal view is that most places in the Abacos will be ready for your visit sooner, rather than later. And all of the Abacos do need your tourism dollars and support!

Things are generally on "Bahamian time" with an added "hurricane time." However, there is a strong commitment and need to get things going ASAP, which is moving repair work right along. Those of us who enjoy the slow pace of the Bahamas may actually be a bit dismayed over the speed toward recovery, but yet applaud it. Bahamian sprit rules!

If you have your Abaco vacation planned - reconfirm and go.

If you have been thinking about an Abaco vacation, look at the vendors on this website and go soon.

If you've been thinking about purchasing a home or raw land in the Abacos, continue to actualize your dream!

The Abacos are not for sissies, but they are for those who love the simplicity and natural beauty the islands and its people have to offer.

What about BATELCO's fax machine?

I have been trying since Frances was over to fax a request to BATELCO and while the connection goes through to the point that the phone rings, the machine never picks up. Is there a new fax number for the Abaco office? I've been using 367-2994.

Question Mark and Patti

Glad to hear things are getting back to normal. How about everything else on Lubbers? Haven't heard from many except you. Is Cracker P's open?
