how to add an avatar to your posts

Avatars are the little pictures right by your username in posts, like the one of me on my bike taken on the beach.

They have to be no larger than 80 pixels wide and 80 pixels high. www.irfanview.com (http://www.irfanview.com) is a good place to find a free photo editor if you don't alreay have one.

To upload an avatar, fine quick links up top as in the picture below

then hit the edit avatar link and you will be taken to a screen similar to the one below

on that screen, find the browse button and use it to locate your avatar on your computer

press the open button and that will place the picture into the box as show below (next to the browse button)

hit save changes and your avatar will be uploaded to the server.
