I just came across stacks of pics from the 1960's at my parents house and started scanning them into my computer. Here is one of the Hopetown lighthouse. i think the other 2 pics are in Hopetown, but i'm not sure. The last one is our little sailboat in our back yard in Casuarina Point, I think that is Duck Cay in the background.

Thanks. I'm not sure why the pictures are so small. I'm using a new photo scanner and I guess I need to explore it a bit more!

I was there in 1968. My very first trip to the Out Islands. Nassau to Harbor Island and then to Marsh Harbor. Great memories of the HHL Sunday All You Can Drink Champagne Brunch.

Has a storm just gone through when your picture was taken. The palm trees look semi bare of branches. I know Betsy had passed through S. Fl in the middle sixties.

Also the pics show how much of the old settlement still remains. Ah, thats the charm we know and love!

Thanks for the pics. I visited Hope Town only a couple of time back in 1968 and 1969. I'd like to go back.
