Do you want company sailing from FLA to Treasure Cay?

My wife and I are bringing our three teenage children to Treasure Cay for Christmas 2009 and are considering sailing/boating rather than flying. I would love to hear from you if you are looking for some company on your trip from Florida to the Abacos and back. You are going to get a lot of advice about the potential perils of Gulfstream crossings in the winter season. Cold fronts begin to puch through aroune Thanksgiving and can make the Stream interesting to say the least. Proper timing and patience is more important than during the summer months. As long as you have the time to wait out fronts thats early enough to find an opening.

Once there it is possibility the best time to be there. So good luck and safe crossing
