My wife and I last year rented from Island Marine, however we noticed that Sea Horse in Marsh Harbor has a $0 deductable insurance coverage option. We will be staying at Driftaway so convience is about the same for both. I have read that Island Marine is the best company however and just wanted some opinions.
Thanks

I've rented from five different boat rentals. ISLAND MARINE is by far #1 in my book. Lory and the guys are fabulous, not hesitant to rent to a female, and the boats are in super condition. They have gone above board to do many extras for us always.

If renting out of Marsh, Blue wave is my favorite.

I have used Waterways several times. Their boats are great and they are the nicest people.

As you can see, we all have our favorate. Personnaly I like Rainbow Rentals (of course I haven't tried them since Charles left the company). But with our large clan of eight their 22' twin-vee, twin engine cats are hard to beat. I guess I'll find out in July since I have another of their twin-vee cats reserved for then.

I personally like Sea Horse Marine. I have rented from them and their boats and equipment are first class. It is also nice that you can pick up your boat at either Boat Harbour in Marsh Harbour or Hope Town. It is also nice that if you are staying in Hope Town, you can go to Marsh Harbour and tie up your boat in one of their slips and the man in the office will call a taxi for you.

We had a great experience with Waterways, Samantha and Jay went way out of their way to not only provide a good boat but helped us on some non-boat related problems.

Jay and Samantha at Waterways Rentals on Man-O-War couldn't be nicer or more helpfull, and they'll pick you up from just about anywhere in the area. Their boats are like brand new, nice and clean, we always rent the 23'6 Key Largo. They have an awsome web site too, tons of info on the area, pictures, links and even movies. Waterwaysrentals.com

they are all incredibly hard working people and all of them really dot the i's and cross the t's and the mechanics, and customer service cannot be better. They are all so incredibly responsible and help you along every single step of the way. They will give you maps, prep you, give you fun excursion ideas. You just cannot lose here and everyone should consider the all important boat rental for your Abacos vacation.
