We are thinking of heading to Hopetown this November - we normally go in March or April and we were wondering what the weather was like? We realize that lots can happen - but if it is fairly poor that time of year we may re-schedule. thanks

November is one of my favorite times of the year in Hope Town. The water is still warm from the summer months and the air temperature is not unbearably hot. The boating can be a little rougher than in the summer months. There are not as many visitors that time of year and they tend to be a little more reserved than the summer ones. November in Hope Town is GREAT!

I also like November for the warmer water but also go in March to get some relief from the snow and cold in WNY. Anytime is nice in the Abacos unless there is an "H" word around.

We too are snowbirds and fly away from the NE to warmer temps.

I would'nt advise going in November, its very cold and the waters can be very rough. Look how bundled up our daughter is walking our dog last Thanksgiving.

November is our favorite time to go, fewer people and warm weather and water. I actually prefer our November trip over our March trip. We've being doing these trips for the last 5 years and never had a bad trip.

drinkin' money, that's really cruel. I mean, your daughter can obviously make decisions on her own! But that poor dog, in those temperatures without a blanket or coat on! And you made him/her get in the water, too. You CLEARLY should be reported to the appropriate authorities ;)

We made our first trip to the Abacos in November to Lubbers and we were hooked. Went again in August to Guana and just discussed our third trip...I thought April but hubby says November or New Years! I can't wait.

About the "H" word. By November, most of the "H"'s form in the Western Carib & are usually smaller. I hope this little bit of science doesn't jinx any visitors or Bahamans!
