HeyAll
Been awhile since I posted, been awhile since my last trip to Abaco. But I am planning a trip next summer for my and my husbands 25th wedding anniversary. We want to stay in Hopetown, on the ocean close to the settlement. I have looked at a few rental houses. Would like to find something with three bedrooms, some family and friends will be coming. My hubbie NEEDS central air! Plus if we are in Hope Town, there are tons of places for anyone else who might decide to come with us. Any housing sugestions?

We are also discussing having a vow renewal ceremony. I remember hearing in the past that Vernon would perform marriage ceremony. Can anyone provide me with contact information?

And I may want to entertain/have a party or dinner. I think it will be 3 or 4 other couples with us, but of course you never know! Any recommendations?

check on the web with vacation rental by owners (VRBO) and click to bahamas and elbow cay. there are many properties listed with all sorts of amenities..

JRH- Your smart to book early, as next year bookings are great. Everyone who did not make it this year, will be coming next year.

check tannykeyrentals She has lots of houses in town. Pay close attention to Sunrise Tellin.. there is house and they also have a nice cottage right on the beach... walking distance to everywhere..and CENTRAL AIR.

Forgot to mention that the house has a nice little courtyard where you can hold your dinner party and if you plan your dates to coincide with the full moon, you will have the most romantic place to celebrate your anniversay... palm trees, moon, ocean breeze, breaking waves..

Actually, I have already contacted someone about Sunrise Tellin and the cottage! You must really be on the same vibe as me! It is a great location. We are going June 12th for a week. I will have to check the moon time table. Our anniversary is on June 15th.
