Greetings to all, Does anyone know if the charted depths in Indian Cay Channel have changed since the hurricanes? Our sailboat draws about 6 feet. Are the Customs Officials in West End charging overtime fees for weekend arrivals? And are cell phones (quik cell kits) still available from Batelco for use in the Abaco area? Thank you for any info you might be able to provide on any of the above topics. We hope to be sailing over from Ft Laud early next week.

We cleared customs at Old Bahama Bay on Sunday, November 28. There were no additional charges for clearing on Sunday.

We used Indian Cut the next day. We were near high tide and stayed on the waypoints listed in the Dodge Abaco Cruising Guide. Depths were always 7+. The pole at waypoint IND3 is missing.

From reading other posts it seems everyone has a unique cell phone experience. My new AT&T GSM phone had a great connection to the Freeport operator but that's as far as I could get. They said I needed to have my number released by AT&T in the states. AT&T had no idea what he was talking about.

Thank you for the info; every little bit helps. I read the postings regarding OBB and cell phone issues. I wonder if a Batelco "cell kit" is available anywhere in Abaco? We are still waiting for weather here in FTL.
