Is it difficult to bring longboards to Elbow Key

I'm hoping to do a bit of surfing on Elbow Key in mid February. Is it difficult to bring boards 7-8 ft? Anyone else surfing in Feb. Thanks.

try Air Florida out of Lauderdale. they are more flexible about odd size bagge and charge 75 cents per pound for freight.

What about surfboard rentals? Does anybody there rent surfboards?

We have a few long boards and a several pretty hot smaller rockets that we have for our guests to use, many regular guests have stopped even trying bringing boards and just use ours to save the hassle and expence. We are ex East coast surfers now living in Abaco.

I am coming down in mid Feb w/ some friends. We are interested in doing some surfing. How much would it cost to rent some boards for a week or so?
