View Full Version : Heard a rumor?
Say it isn't so. Heard that Prince B from Treasure Cay Resort/Coco Bar may have died from a heart attack. Is this true? He was such a wonderful man, with such a wonderful spirit and laugh-he made TC Resort what it is! Just won't be the same if true.

Yes. Prince died of a massive heart attack on Thursday late afternoon while driving just past the Haitian village and church. His child and mother were with him. They were OK.
We will really miss his smile and greeting as well as great service at the Coco Beach Bar and around town.

I also heard the very sad news today! We are all deeply saddened, and wish to send out deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. We are know as the vessel Le Rew, usually at slip T-3 in the marina. Prince was such a wonderful person. His voice was so calming as we rounded Whale Cay to check in on our visits. He would greet us at the T.C. Marina with a huge smile, and assist us with whatever we needed. He even surprised me personally one year with a birthday gift he had chosen himself. It is my favorite cutting board! One summer, he made his body into a human bridge so my son (Robert White) could board our vessel. Robert must have been 4, and the tide was not "right"! I have never in my life been so touched with his kindness. I lost my husband, Bob White aka Mr. Bob about 1 1/2 years ago in my arms, and only can begin to process the loss of the entire community. It is of some comfort to know that Bob was so very fond of Prince, and I am certain he is greetinig him at the Pearly Gates in Heaven with a huge smile, as Prince greeted us at the Marina. He will never be forgotten. Please forward any funeral details if possible. God Bless....Susan White and Robert White III.

I just got this from a friend and if this doesn't describe Prince.... God bless him and his family:
Dad is a person
Dad is a person
who is loving and kind,
And often he knows
what you have on your mind.
He’s someone who listens,
suggests, and defends.
A dad can be one
of your very best friends!
He’s proud of your triumphs,
but when things go wrong,
A dad can be patient
and helpful and strong
In all that you do,
a dad’s love plays a part.
There’s always a place for him
deep in your heart.
And each year that passes,
you’re even more glad,
More grateful and proud
just to call him your dad!
Thank you, Dad...
for listening and caring,
for giving and sharing,
but, especially, for just being you!
Happy Father’s Day

Our Treasure Cay agent, Coral Farrington, is the mother of Prince's two young children.
She and the baby were with him in the car, which went off the road as he had the heart attack.
Please remember them in your prayers.
I will be attending the memorial service, which has been scheduled for Saturday.

I remember Prince Bodie and Ramon Russell working the Dining Room togeather at the old Hotel and at the Spiniker before it was remodeled back in 1975. He was always pleasant and he would remember you right away even if you hadn't been there for a while. This is truly a great loss. Im sure God has a Paradise set aside for him just like TC Beach. I sure won't ever forget him and his radiance and warmth and love that poured out of him for everyone. Is there a fund set up at Royal Bank for the Family?

This is very sad news. Prince was a wonderful guy, very kind, humble and thoughtful. His smile and laughter were truly uplifting. The Abacos have lost a wonderful ambassador. He will be greatly missed, and I extend my condolences and prayers to his family.
