Can anyone update us on the current staus of OBB marina? Can you clear customs, can you get a slip, can you get a room, can you get a drink? Thanks in advance.

We stopped at OBB on November 29 on our way to Abaco. We had called the OBB number from Ft. Lauderdale before we left. The marina is open / the resort is closed. Customs and immigrations keep normal hours. Navigation lights at the entrance are working. The fuel dock is open but no restaurant, no bar.

Dockage was $1 per foot and that included water. 50amp electricity was $18. My wife checked us in at the fuel dock and she said she was required to provide a waiver as to the lack of facilities and injuries from not wearing shoes ashore.

Big warning: we made three calls from the "direct USA" phone at the shower area. Two were no answers, the last was a very brief conversation. We used our SBC calling card and were charged five minutes and $38 for each of the three calls!

We were there on Dec 26th....same as reported by echo. They told us that they were planning on reopening around March. The only restaurant serving food was "the pub" in the settlement.

We were told earlier this month that the hotel and restaurant will be open in March. While we were there , new roofs were being installed on all the hotel buildings . We were told that for drinks or food it was necessary to go into West End which has been pretty well leveled. It looked as though the restaurant was open at the Harbour Hotel.
