Tropical Heights Beachouse, Eleuthera

Has anyone stayed in this beach house? We're thinking about staying there and would like any input anyone can give us, such as convenience of local restaurants, grocery/liquor stores, things that are a "must do" on the island, etc. The beaches on their web site look very secluded and we're mainly going for rest and relaxation, so hopefully they are as secluded as they look.

You will be in the Atlantic side which will allow you breezes. This is very important. You are near the (what we call) Club Med Beach. There was a Club Med on this beach and it was taken out by Floyd in September 1999. We missed that storm by 2 days. We have made several trips to Eleuthera and have found that we cannot survive without a car. I have never stayed in Tropical Heights, but have been to Eleuthera many times. Looks like you have a narrow strip of beach. Hope the pictures weren't taken at low tide. Please email me directly if you want any more info. I'd be glad to help. If it's beaches you want, there are many more nice properties on Eleuthera to provide you with this. TH looks like a great property, just not much beach?
