Looking for crossing partner to either West End or Walkers and return trip if it works out for both parties. Final destination will be either Green Turtle or Hope Town. We haven't finalized any plans as yet. We have a center console with a decent cruise speed. Open travel window is from 1st week in July to third week in July. Please respond if interested. Thanks.

We are planning to head across around July 6 and return July 18. We will probably head to GTC first and will be returing from Elbow or Treasure maybe going through West End. We will be in a 50 ft Viking Sport Cruiser with a 20 knt cruise.

Hi Haziewaller, we are planning on taking our potcakes Sophie and Oscar with us again, but still haven't firmed everything up. If cookie909 is there, we would love to stop in and see her. Thanks for the Abaco Life magazine; it was a surprise to see Sophie, Oscar, Kalik and Dot in the potcake travel photos.
Silver Lining, we sent you a PM, thanks for your reply.
Thanks
Alan and Nancy

I will be leaving LWI on the morning of the 13th. Final destination is GTC. Don't know if we are going to clear at West End and run through the waterway or go straight to Spanish and clear there. I will cruise between 35-40 knots.

Alan and Nancy,
I will be on GTC from July 3-14, and would love to see you and Sophie & Oscar!!! Oscar was one of my favorites! Please come see me at Bita Bay House or let me know where you'll be & we'll come see you. Phone # is 365-4627 at Bita Bay. Here's their baby pictures & the pic of you when you picked them up in South Georgia!
Judy
P.S. Annie Taylor will be on GTC at the same time too (but she's not bringing Kalik, who you took with you to Florida....)

I will be at Sandy Bay house on Gillam Bay June 27 - July 12. Kalik cannot get time off from his job (guarding the house, taking care of the cats, and telling the house-sitters what needs to be done) so he will not be going with me. I would LOVE to see Sophie and Oscar.

Hello Annie and Judy, we will stop by and see you when we arrive. The pups are good travelers, they just rest at my feet all the way accross the stream. They love the water and chasing each other on the beach. We will contact you in advance when we have all our plans together. Normally we have everything firmed up six months in advance, but this year it will be last minute; should know this week though. Looking forward to seeing you both.
P.S. Did we tell you that we ran into Dot's family at the Sundowners (?) last year; its the bar near the western most point in New Plymouth with a dock....

I'll look forward to seeing you too! Someone told me about the Sundowner's meeting. It might have been Carolyn, the owner. I also heard that Judy ran into my friends at Plymouth Rock and he had seen Kalik that morning before he flew over! It's a wonderful, small, potcake world.:)

This is a couple of photos of what we ran into last year when we departed Double Breasted Cay and were about 10 mile east of Ft. Pierce inlet. The first one is my crossing partner with a 46 ft as we entered this storm and the second photo is us on the horizon in our 35 ft center console viewed from their boat. When we left, we didn't see this on radar. There was no way to avoid it. A crossing partner can be very important.

I am planning to cross July 4th (maybe able to accomodate 3rd) from Palm Beach to Grand Cay via West End. I have a 30' center console with decent cruising speed as well. Return planned for July 11. I am interested in a crossing buddy also. How does this match up with your plans?
