I don't know that you can even begin to appreciate the work of Monty Weeks in making this board that we all enjoy possible. Just getting the thing reformatted and going after the crash/crush of Frances, then Jeanne is the stuff that geek legends are made of.

Monty has never been to Abaco! And he loves fishing!

It would be relatively easy to get Monty alone here, but Monty really needs to bring his family to properly enjoy Abaco. Once we get him and his family here it's a piece of johhny cake to find places for them to stay and plenty of places to get them fed. The airfare to get here is where we need some help. The good news is that from Houston its a direct shot to MIA and then here via Gulfstream.

Monty has an air conditioning business outside of Houston, and it's hard to get away in late Spring when fishing here is best. But we can make it a deal he can't refuse with a little planning on his part, the kids should be getting out of school or I'll bet we can get them credits for their visit to Abaco..

Do we have a reliable volunteer to be treasurer for a travel fund?

Sinc, I truely appreciate the thought, but it's not money that's keeping me away from paradise, it's simply the time. Last summer was the first one in my new shop and while it was a great summer, it's not nearly what I hope to accomplish this summer. I started 3 new employees on Monday for the front end of things and am trying to get 10 new trucks ready to be on the road before the end of February. When March and April come along, I want to be ready to really ramp things up in my business and not have to turn away work like I did last year. I have even put off my annual trip to Florida planned for this spring to concentrate on work. Once things cool off this fall, I will find my way over there and along the way want to spend a day in Miami and Orlando to visit with friends there. It took me two years to build this new building and I want to see things through with it this summer. Hopefully, the tail end of summer won't bring any storms to disrupt my plans like last year when one hit Ft. Pierce on the day I was supposed to arrive. Again, thanks for the thought, and if you come up with 36 hour days, be sure to send me the recipe ;)
