Treasure to Guana?

We (2 people) are flying into Treasure on Friday 26th, landing around 2pm. We do have a ride to MH to catch the ferry to Guana where we're staying. Does anyone know a way to get from Treasure directly to Guana? I don't think there is a ferry, but what about a charter? Also, forcast says winds S-SE @ 15 to 20...what will the sea be like then?

We had to take a taxi to MHH and then a ferry to Guana. Only way we knew unless a Sunday trip with Ozzie on Prozac.

With those winds the Sea of Abaco will be choppy but nothing to worry about if you are just crossing from TC to GC. Now if you mean the seas out in the ocean, well it may be pretty rough then.

There is a ferry that leaves Treasure Cay Marina, "Prozak", and goes over to Guana. You may wish to contact them. It might be a bit pricey as it requires at least 6 persons to sign up.

A taxi cab ride down to MH will run you around $80, if memory serves me right.

I would try to get ahold of the boat rental at TC Marina (JTC rentals I think) and see if you can make a deal to have one of the guys take you over in one of their rental boats. By the time you pay $90 for the taxi and $?? each for the ferry, and take an extra couple of hours to do it...Maybe for $150 they'd do it if they're not too busy-which they usually aren't anyway. Maybe the dive shop on Guana would consider the same thing. Worth a try...good luck!:confused:
