Our flight leaves Marsh Harbour at 0900 on Wed, Dec 17. Is anyone going over from Guana Cay who would be willing to take us? Or any suggestions of who we might contact to ferry us over?
Many thanks from two Canadians who should have checked the ferry schedule before booking our flights...

Contact Troy at Dive Guana. He might help.

Antigones Dad - sometimes it doesn't matter if you check the schedule from up here in the frozen north.

It seems West Jet (and Air Canada) has one flight at one time through Nassau, and to get home a ferry charter (or someone lovely like Troy) is needed to get there on time.

This year everyone coming with us will have to charter back to Canada, even two going through Lauderdale.

At least it isn't horrifically expensive.

NS, eh? My daughter just moved from Yarmouth to Edmonton!
Have fun in the Abacos! :D

Are you kidding me?
We'll be in Yarmouth on Thursday...that's where we live.... whoa! small world, although I wouldn't want to paint it:D

We tried to sweet talk Troy, .... 150 to 170....

Try Albury's Ferry and see what their pricing is too, to compare.

It is pretty messy to travel when you have one airline and one flight in and out! :(

check out the rates for the Lofty Fig, Island Breezes,Conch Inn, you might find it easier to take the last ferry the day before and stay in MH for the evening.

I would look into staying in MH for a night. That sounds steep for chartering to me!

Angie, not when gas is still high here. Its better but it was $4.40 a gal. yesterday at Orchid Bay. Plus that is an early trip for Troy.
Who knows what the weather will be like on Wednesday? It might be a terrible trip across to MH so I am going along with the others, rent a room in MH for Tuesday night and you will have no problem.

I think Troys price is extremly fair. It would mean an extremly early run. If you deduct cost of fuel, cost of operating a boat and all other costs it is not a windfall and is cheaper than a charter ferry. How much do you make for what you do?
