Hi again from the Crazy Canucks.
My brother is going down this Saturday to pick up the boat a day early at Marsh. They won't let him on till early the next morning and needs to overnight. Can't seem to find anything for under $150.00/night near the harbour.
Any body know of anything simple - for less - for just the one night?
Thanx tremendously!
Dave

Thanks for the quick reply! Gave the "Lofty" a call and it comes out to $143.00/night which - your right - beats $150.00, but is still a little rich for a one night crash pad for 1 guy. No "no tell motels" or rooms on top of bars that go for an economy price?
Thanks again to all that have been so great in helping us plan our trip.
Best regards,
Dave

why don't you give Tourism a call? 242-367-3067 (speak with Kendy or Winsome). Threre are places that they will know about, and maybe even their People-to-People program has some sort of accomodation provisions ? It would be worth a phone call...
Other places that might come close to your description are the Hotel over the Dept of Traffic (across from Goombay Park in Dundas Town-The Ambassador 367-2022), or there are some guest houses. Since the storm I couldn't tell you what they are called or how to reach them, but Tourism could. Finally, some of the churches here have guest accomodations for visiting missionaries, speakers etc. Not sure if they will rent to just anyone, but I can't picture them turning down the rent $$
Hope this helps!
