We had a wonderful time as usual over the Christmas holiday on GTC. We were saddened by the new of Joe Sawyer's brother, and saw the funeral Monday. It is truly moving to see the entire island turn out in support, and busninesses closing in order to attend. We actually spent a little time with Joe on the day of the funeral, and on a few boats.
We caught a good number of 'heatin' fish. 17 on our first day out.
Something interesting did happen though - we straded two of Donny's boats in Munjack River. We have never seen the tide take the water level that low.....we walked through a good part of the river in knee to toe deep water.
We were very glad to see the re construction, and repairs were well underway, and that most buildings were not greatly affected. We talked with Scott at Sids at legth about the hurricanes. Scott and Martha are some of the best people on earth.
