moonrise

Thanks to Tiffany, Brandon and Lynn at Calypso for going the extra mile for me yesterday morning. I had just returned from Acapulco with the unwanted baggage of "turista" and arrived at Calypso counter at 7:30 a.m., tired and ill, to learn that I was booked on their 2:45 afternoon flight not the morning flight. I was in no mood for a long wait at the Jet Centre.
I couldn't have been treated better by their staff. With nothing but smiles and apologies for their part in any mishaps, Tiffany first called for flights from other airlies and of course this was unsuccessful. She then tried for a half hour to get me a hotel room to rest until the afternoon flight. New Years Eve was impossible for accommodation on short notice. Undaunted, Lynn (hooray Lynn) brought in a temporary bed from her home and made me comfortable in the Calypso Penthouse. Tiffany brought magazines and good cheer. Brandon kept up a professional positive and optimistic attitude although I was a difficult customer. I got some sleep and got back to Abaco in time for New Years Eve. Hooray Calypso!
Now that is service with a smile and an example of turning lemons into lemonade. Thanks Calypso.
