Has anyone stayed on Tilloo Cay? If so, would you comment on the pro and cons from your perspective?

it is very nice and quiet. once you are at the house that is it. nothing else on the island. you must have a boat and be comfortable with it as you have to use it to go to grocery, out to dinner EVERYTHING. If you like quiet and are a homebody it is great.

We usually stay on Lubbers( facing Tilloo) and go to Tilloo many times over our stay. The beach on the sea side of Tilloo on the Tilloo bank is quiet and great for a picnic. The Pelican Cays sit on the southern tip of Tilloo, and they are beautiful and deserted little cays great for laying out and snorkeling. The Tilloo Bank also has HUGE orange starfish to see( protected, so only take pix) and the occasional horse conch or queens helmet. The cay itself is residential with only a handful of homes, but that is what Abaco is all about. You do need a boat, as mentioned in the earlier post, but it is a great location for getting around to Hopetown's dining- beaches- shopping, Cracker P's on Lubbers, down to Little Harbour for Pete's Pub and gallery, etc. Where are you staying?
