Hi,
We will be arriving in Abaco from Phoenix,Arizona on Saturday. It is our first visit. We are staying in a house at Casuarina Point. Is anyone familiar with that area? We are just looking forward to the laying on the beach, reading and snorkling. How far is it from Marsh Harbour? I am taking a college class that I have to be online every other day. I guess from reading your messages, I will have to go to Marsh Harbour to be able to hookup with the internet. Can't wait to get there, just the packing is taking forever! I don't want my bags to be overweight! Thanks.

You'll love Casuarina, and you may or may not have internet access at the house you're in, but it's in the area. SusieandAl will probably respond, I think they were one of those mistakenly deleted in the recent glitch, and my cousin Buddy lives there, and I get email from him through coralwave. I think oii has wireless in that area for a fee.

We're from northern Arizona and have vacationed in Abaco since 1994. Last June we rented a house in Casuarina and really loved it out there. The house we rented had internet access but we didn't take our laptop so not sure how reliable that was. Your caretaker or homeowner should have info about internet access from your rental. Have fun. PM me if you have more questions. Always glad to talk about Abaco.

Thank you for the information. I wasn't able to talk to the rental agency about the internet but I am sure I will find somewhere to do my school work. We are renting a car so we can visit the island, do we drive on the opposite of road than here in US? That is what I heard. Have a great 4th of July.

Oh,Yes, THINK LEFT!! When approaching some curves, the pavement may be marked with arrows that could be confusing, as they're not necessarily directional but a reminder to keep left. Be sure to visit Cherokee and Little Harbour/Pete's Pub, Foundry and Studio.
