I am interested in finding the name of the artist who did the hand painted maps of Abaco that are on the wall in Albury's Ferry Service in Marsh Harbour. I have looked at them several times but can not remember. I am interested in purchasing a few now so if anyone knows the name or even somewhere I could buy them or even where they might be viewed on line it would be greatly appreciated.

Can't recall the artist's name right off hand - even though I have one of the maps on my den wall - but I know I bought mine at the Sea Spray Marina gift store on Elbow Cay.

Bill Johnson who lives in a cottage called Tortuga on Lubbers Quarters did those maps. They are available at the Ebb Tide in Hope Town. I'll ask Bill if there is any other way to get the maps. He is a wealth of knowledge on Bahamian history and spent earlier years surveying the entire Bahamas and drawing maps.

Go see Tuppy Weatherford (I believe that is correct) at Abaco Glass in MH-she has them framed and otherwise. Her framing is outstanding much better than anything I have available in the US
