In your honest opinion and just for fun, what is your personal favorite restaurant in TC? Please give your reason why and what you like to order.

I like Touch of Class for the cracked conch.
I also like the Spinnaker on the BBQ night. I have had some delicious blackened grouper there as well.

Leslie, I like Spinnakers...I like the atmosphere, the service and the food is always good! Touch of Class was okay but had no atmosphere...food good but atmosphere very important. Also like to go there for breakfast to sit and look at the boats while having breakfast and their breakfast is always very good! Otherwise, I don't know of any other restaurants in TC. BBC has some dining but I heard it was only for their guests/owners.

Definitely Touch of Class. Spinnakers is starting to show wear and tear.

Not enough restaurants on TC to even have a debate :) :) :)
Touch of Class
Spinnakers
Flo's bakery
Coco Beach Bar
The poolside grill at BBC
The lady that drives around dinners out of her vehicle
The first two are the only "true" restaurants.

I know, I think she just wants to know what we look for in a restaurant. Again, besides good food, good service, affordable prices, I LIKE atmosphere that is why I opted for Spinnakers for dinner and breakfast. I had never been to Coconuts which I heard closed and had real good food but again, I still would choose Spinnakers for fine dining. Casual, I LOVE to eat at Nippers but it is not on TC. Maybe a new restaurant is in the future with all the building going on.

Definitely Coco Beach Bar and Spinnaker's. Our group was very disappointed in Touch of Class and it seems a lot of people really like it. I personally would not go back there.

I also was not that impressed. The conch fritters were good and I don't eat conch.
The Spinnaker is very nice, with good views, dockside, nice people. But the food is expensive and mediocre. Not worth the price. The Touch is plain, no view, but quite reasonable and worth the short trip, especially if you like conch and fish. They also serve takeout. The Cocoa Bar, owned and operated by TC, is a decent sandwich grill for lunch, but they close at 4:00PM, operating on the mistaken theory that if there is no other choice right in TC, visitors will go to the Spinnaker...and they might, once. The Tipsy Seagull operates on the same theory. No food. Not even chips.
So here's the solution: Go to Touch of Class and buy takeout dinner. Take it to the Spinnaker, order a drink and enjoy!

The food is pricey but I did not think it was bad. Wherever you go on vacation, I find the restaurant pricey. Even here we got a real pricey dinner last night (good but pricey). Rykat we were in your neck of the woods again. Great lobster!

Does Coco close at 4:00 for drinks as well, or just food?
Thanks

Just returned from a two week Moorings adventure. Anchored in the harbor and had a great visit at Treasure Cay. To answer your question, Coco Beach Bar closes at 5:00 for food and drinks. We were at Spinnakers for pasta night. Get the spaghetti if you go there cause you will get more bang for your buck. I choose the Beef Stroganoff and it was made with macaroni noodles and had about 4 small slices of beef to the tune of $26.00. If I remember correctly, the spaghetti was $18 or $19.
We were in TC the second time on Pizza night and the larges run about $25.00. Actually pretty good pizza but then we'd been cooking on the cat for almost 2 weeks, so anything might have tasted good.
Hope this helps.
Chris's "The Burner" has excellent food. All dinners are just $10. Service is a bit slow, especially on weekends and space is tight, but you can't beat the food for the price. Easier if you call and make a reservation. Spinnaker is overpriced as it always has been. TOC is still good, but my new fave is The Burner. It's always packed, so everyone must be enjoying the new place. They have the best "cracked" batter around, lighter than most other places. Snapper fingers were great, as was all their items, conch, lobster, pork chops, etc

Does anyone know anything about the restaurant scheduled to open in May, just outside the entrance to Treasure Cay? I think they are calling it Treasuresands?
I have heard it will be a bar/restaurant, perhaps by membership...the workers have differing stories. It seems very nicely done. Residential section on hold right now.
