Being a owner at Abaco Towns I and a regular visiter to Abaco, I am seriously thinking of booking my trip this year around the Barefoot Man in March.
I have enjoyed the Pig Roast (and a few Nippers) on my past visits to Nippers.
What time does the concert start?
More importantly what time does it end?
If past the last Ferry, do they have a "special" ferry that will be going back to Marsh?
It is a long swim (especially after a couple of nippers)

Tommy; I believe it starts around noon, don't know of a special ferry, but the last regular run is now at 6:30. Anyone else know if I'm right? Easy

I think if you have enough people to spread the cost out you can charter a ferry to take you back. I have heard of others doing this for the Full Moon party at CP's. I would think there would be a big crowd needing to get back to Marsh.

Hi Tommy,
I called Nippers yesterday and was told the concert will start around noon. They weren't sure about any extra ferries. I'm going to give Albury's a ring to find out. I'll post when I have info. I'm so psyched to see the concert! We had originally planned our visit for the following weekend, but had to reschedule. Now I'm so glad we did!
Happy Holidays!

We were there earlier this year for the concert and stayed over at Treasure Cay. Getting a ferry there and back was no problem. We've also traveled by ferry from Marsh Harbor to guana. Even with a 5:30 (or 6:30 - probably depends on what time it is getting dark) last departure from Guana, you have plently of time to enjoy the day and the concert.
For the 2005 concert we'll be staying on Guana for several days to avoid that whole issue of the ferry or a rental boat for a change. We'll see if we like that better than staying somewhere else and commuting for the concert.
Either way, the concert provides for a fun day and lots of memories.

Tell me more, tell me more! Exactly when in March is the concert, how much are the tickets (might make a great birthday present for my March 15 b/day), is the concert actually at Nippers? Is there another website that might have all this info?
We will be in the Bahamas all winter this year, and I could easily plan the itinerary to include this. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Yes, its actually at Nippers. Check out their web site at www.nippersbar.com
