All,

First trip to Abaco, so please bear with me. Does Customs accept credit cards for the Cruising permit, etc...or do I need cash when I check in?

AFAIK, the short answer is : NO.
Would be nice, but even US CBP is not yet that far along.

We just renewed ours a month ago and they will only take cash or a local check. Be prepared to bring plenty of cash.

Make sure you get fully registered (both vessel and all occupants) with US customs, it really saves hassle on the return.
