It promises to be a great day. We have lots of Conch for Conch Salad and the Grill will be humming, sodas and coconut water will be available. The T-shirts look great and they will surely sell out.
The Silent Auction will feature some outstanding items including: handmade arts and crafts; two beautiful matted prints of the a Bahamian Sloop; handmade skimboards; a Dell D610 Notebook; and numerous Gift Certificates from local businesses on Guana and in Marsh Harbour.
Thanks to all that have contributed so far and we will see you on Saturday!

Our fundraiser was very successful and we would like to thank everyone that came by on Saturday. We raised over $7,000, which means that the boats are on the way and the kids will be sailing in couple of weeks!
This event was a wonderful coming together of the Guana Cay community and it would not have happened without the tremendous support of local businesses, residents, parents and second home owners. One of the highlights of the day was when a group of second homeowners came forward with a $2,000 donation - Thank you.
We would also like to thank the Hopetown Sailing Club Youth program for their support and encouragement.
More photos and updates to follow.

Thank you Scott, Rhianon, Erin, and all the members of the community for coming together for our kids. It was the best day in a very long time on Guana Cay for the community and for the kids. The kids really looked like a team, all running around and sailing in their new Guana Sail Team tee-shirts, the parents so happy that the kids were happy, the second homeowners proud to help out, everyone with such a positive vibe. Thank you Stafford Patterson, Bahamian Out-Island Sailing circles leader for coming up from Hope Town, to Guana to assist where ever you were needed. I know that everyone on the cay is very happy and very excited about this program, but I might be the only one to post! (Big mouth!)... but this is an outstanding programme. See you in the water on Saturday when the boats arrive. THIS IS AWESOME!
