Does anyone know the "speed" of the wireless in Abaco? In other words, does 802.11 G have any advantage over B? Ken

No advantage for now; it's all 11 Mbps ("B"). But, for your own equipment such as bridges, routers or PCMCIA/USB cards, it makes sense to buy G equipment since its backwards compatible and sets you up nicely for the future (that is until 802.16 hits!).

Johnny says No. Downlasod speeds are from 300 to 700 kbs per second. Upload sppeds are anywhere from 250 to 600. All depending on the amount of traffic on the system at any given time. Wireless B does work down here but all the systesm are 802.11 B.
