The current Abaconian gave a wonderful review of the "Evening of Bahamian Elegance"! Congrats to Potcake on being a cover girl! Did George wear a tux, too? That page 2 pic was also pretty special! Nothing like have the support of the Prime Minister himself at your fundraiser!!

Didn't Firecracker post lots of photos of last year's wine tasting?

Hazie, George volunteered to stay at home, but not because he had to dress up! It turned into sort of a girls night out for some committee members! There was someone there who had on a tux and FLIP-FLOPS!!! George would have worn REAL shoes if he had been there! He will probably dress up and go to the wine tasting!! The evening was really nice and I think the committee is willing to try it again! I bet people who missed the first one will be wanting to buy tickets!
The Wine tasting will be great! Geno D is a wonderful entertainer. Wish you could join us!!

Yes, Firecracker took some great photos last year and gave me the cd of them. Last night I was quite proud of myself when I tried to tackle attaching several of the photos to entice everyone to come to the Wine Tasting. But the computer told me my photos were too big..................

I think Firecracker is in town and I will take her cd to her tomorrow and hope she knows how to do it!

Abercam....hi Karen! I know if you saw me you would know me but not on here. Well anyway, I had read once that the photos have something to do with reducing the pixels....maybe if you try that it would work. I am far from computer literate but just something I remember reading.

I just counted over 30 different kinds of delicious hor'deurves in the making for Saturday. Bristol Cellars confirmed they are bringing 5 delicious reds and 5 white wines to taste. And don't forget the champagne! The festival committee will be providing sparkling cider and 2 new popular sparkling non alcoholic wines to taste. And did I mention there will be a dessert table?

Geno D says he is ready to entertain and keep you all on the dance floor!

Plenty of tickets available. Especially at the event, just come to enjoy.

Ferry leaves the mainland at 615pm. Don't miss it!!
