My family and I are returning to Elbow Cay for New Year’s as the weather etc. last year was just so extremely fabulous. Are the fireworks that are done on Lubbers Cay a regular event? Are they something to do with the restaurant/bar at Cracker P’s? We want to make sure we have our rental boat in the vicinity this time as they were tremendous and this year we will have a bit of full moon as well!! Yep, last New Year’s was just so gorgeous, calm, sunny and just slightly cool. With many thanks.

The fire works last year were done by a private person, I know the family andd I am trying to find out if they are going to do it again. I will post as soon as I find out.

Thanks for reminding me about the fireworks. They were spectacular last year right near tilloo cut. Hope they will be doing them again this year. The best place to be is right at Cracker P's, the best view in town.

A very good show indeed...Thanks to whomever!

My guess the folks that live at the end of Old Trail Rd. When they are in town chances are it may happen. I saw the other day that the house looked to be open again and folks moving in and out!!

The fireworks show was actually put on by Bonnie and Fred Hazlewood of Cooper Jack Cay. As of yesterday they were fairly sure they would do it again this year.

I wanted to say thanks to Bonnie and Fred for their beautiful fireworks display so near Cracker P's that we keep getting the credit. Please note that although our dinner guests have the advantage of the best show in town....that it was not our show!!

The fireworks show was perfect and as the saying goes "nine oclock is midnight in Abaco" so the timing was perfect!
