on this board. I'm getting a great vibe with 33 days and counting. All the surf trips I've dragged brenda on I've tried to match some good diving since thats her passion. So far, the surfs been great, and the diving sucks. This is my last chance, otherwise I'll be taken my trips solo. That would suck because shes way cute and fun to have along. I think this time I've done my research right. Maybe not world class surf, but fun waves and crystal clear warm water, and some fun peeps to boot. Be staying at the abaco inn.
See ya all in a month! Merry x-mas!!!!!!

stayin at the Abaco Inn.Do you have a boat? Golf cart? I think you need both. The cart will get you out and about at night and the boat during the day.make sure you hit Cracker P's for the fish dip and grilled conch! Say "Hi" to Patrick for me.The Heineken has made it's way to my favorite beer. Enjoy your trip and take alot of pictures,It will not be your last trip!!! Make sure to get conch salad in Marsh Harbour from George Wilmore.

reserved for 2 weeks.....It's a great boat, I just shrink wrapped mine for the winter. Getting around by boat has my pulse up! 33 days to go....can't wait! And a golf cart....geez this place sounds too good. But I never set my sites too high. Travel experience teaches you that......bart

If you have a portable gps with a blue chart that will help you also. I have a a garmin 276csx that I pre-programed waypoints and routes from Guide to cruising the Abacos.Ihave local knowledge but it's nice to know exactly where you are going, especially after a couple kaliks.

It's on my list. It was my first question to island marine.....The old fashion way is ok, but a gps wins the day....A combo depth finder wouldn't be bad either.....b

The handheld with waypoints from Dodges & or Explorer Charts makes things a bit more comfortable for sure. Hit the tip of Tilloo Bank :o (soft) at low tide my 1st time to the Cays on the way to Sandy Cay, not a big deal, but now having the handheld with chart and waypoints has made subsequant trips more comfortable exploring and finding our way around safely. I loaned the handheld to a friend for his 1st trip down and he sure appreciated the ease of which it made for his 1st trip. It sure beats the placemat type map  the rental companies hand you. If you take it easy you can't get into too much trouble when staying in the Sea of Abaco.

Is there somewhere in Marsh Harbor to get a copy of Dodges or explorer?
I've looked at Chapters in Canada - there are none in the country.
I've looked at Barnes and Nobles in the USA - They don't even have it in their data base.
I leave a week from Saturday and was hoping to get a copy of it there.
Thanks
