Longing for Sandy Point

I have been to Abaco and its out islands dozens of times over the years and have stayed in many homes or in my boat from Walkers down to Casarina Point. This year I want to venture to Sandy Point for an extended stay but I do not know any houses that are available for rent. If you know of any homes with docks available, please drop me a note. I know htat Sandy Point is quite remote and does not have the same access to the web as hub of Abaco.

Did you find out the information you were looking for.... we have spent several summers in Little Harbour and know some of the locals that might be able to provide you with some recommendations.

Sandy Point is very different than much of The Abacos, much less geared to tourists.
There are a couple of Bonefish lodges, but I don't know of any rental homes with docks.
You might try calling the Abaco Tourist Office at (242)367-3067 and see if they have any suggestions.

Mrs. Thompson rents a modest house right on the beach -- beautiful sunsets. It's 3 bdrm, 1 bath, but no dock. Also notorious for nosee'ems. Her number is 366-4384 or 366-4081. Check at Nancy's (restaurant) to see if they'll let you tie up at their dock.
