Is the weather in april (after the 15th) comfortable for swimming/snorkeling?

Yes, as to water temperature.

The biggest problem with April are the frontal systems that periodically pass through. The high winds and rough seas they create can put a damper on water activities, especially snorkeling on the most popular reefs.

Unfortunately, there is no way to predict the weather. Some Aprils are calm, others are not. For this reason I think May is a better month to visit.

Regardless, you're going to have a ball, no matter what the weather is.
