Apparently democracy is alive in the Bahamas and the US and most other countries could learn about participation by its citizens.
If the election stats in the Abaconian are correct, the number of registered
voters who actually voted was an astounding 93.5% in North Abaco.
South Abaco, not be out done, had a turnout of 93.6%.
In the US, if the voter turnout gets as high as 55% they consider it good.
