Haven't heard anything for a while about how the new ferry is performing. I'm thinking about using it in July just to try it out. Is there a place at their dock to get out of the sun/rain while you're waiting? What dock does it dock at in Hope Town? The one up near Cap't Jacks? Any information would be appreciated. Tip

The new ferry has had it's share of problems it has been down several times do to mechanical problems once for almost a week but froggies charters and does the trip for them.
They are in the procress of building a small building at the crossing dock next to Albury's Ferry where the water tank was, before that they only had a tent which they put up and took down every day, not shure how much waiting area will be inside?
The friendly captain Ryan Williams which used to work for Albury's Ferry but was let go and then for Abaco Ferry has left Abaco ferry and moved on, I am not shure who is captain now.
They run from the upper public dock by the post office in Hope Town.
Hope this brings you up to date.

I've had good experience with the Abaco Ferry. They stop at any of the docks in HT, including the Lower Public Dock, (near Capt Jacks)

They play music that makes you feel you're on vacation -- even if you are not! The staff is very, very nice.

We used them last time down and it was great. They are planning constructing a gazebo with food and stuff. But the service was good and they drop at all the docks including white sound.

Nice people and it seems like a family operation.
