Dear Bob & Melonie:
Just wanted to tank you both for the inspirational posts on your progress. I've really enjoyed your Blog as well. You might be surprised that your friend Ole, is Dock Chair at our YC here in Lauderdale and I see him several times a week as we berth just a few slips apart!
Your travels have help me greatly in planning our first trip to the Abacos departing for West End on the 18th from Port Everglades.
On your blog you listed a favorite sight, one was "ActiveCaptian.com". This site is very new, 2 weeks online and still a little awkward, but WOW the boating community has really jumped on it! The ability to get lots of first hand information on marinas, anchorages and shoreside POI is fantastic. One has to ask why has it taken so long? The Abaco cruisers should adopt this site as project to get their island community and the cruisers experiences as well detailed a spossible for everyone's benefit.
