Here is afriend we met at Fowl Cay preserve. Anybody know his name?

I've seen him, but we haven't been formally introduced. He's about six feet long as I recall. I would just call him "big guy" or maybe "SIR"

We saw a cuda last year with a wire leader and I can't believe it could be the same one but, his name was Max.

This guy is really mean! We met him at Grouper Alley, Fowl Key, when we scuba dived there.
He circled the boat, watched us dive, and then as the groupers approached us, he attacked!!
Three of us were is a circle on the seabed; he dived down between us, grabbed a big grouper (15 pound +), screwed it into the sand, split it in two, and swam away with the rear half whilst the front half swam in a corkscrew to the surface!!
Blood and guts everywhere!
The guys left on the boat saw all the blood and commotion before the head surfaced, and were really worried we had been attacked!

RumRummers, that is a scary story. The 'cuda (whom we named Fang) scared the bejeezus out of us just by floating there, perfectly still, staring at us for an hour. Creepy!

The only cuda we are on a first name basis with is Barry on Lubbers- we feed him scraps of bait and he is magnificent to watch. Your friend looks scarier than Barry.

We been diving at the fowl cays for 5 years and have seen that cuda often. If you look back in the really old posts on this forum they say his name is Charlie
