Where can you purchase beer and rum in Hope Town or Marsh Harbour for a good price?

Beer is very expensive on Marsh and the outer Islands yet Rum and other alchohol is cheap compared to the states. But they are well worth it!

There are liquor stores on Elbow Cay and in Hope Town where you will find both.

And DO try the rum -- get smaller bottles and try all the different flavours!

Last night I made a coconut pudding, and at the very end as I poured it into the pudding cups I topped it off with the coconut rum I brought home from Hope Town. YUMMY!!

While there we had pineapple rum, and used it in pina coladas, but I think I'd have preferred the coconut rum in that too, since there was already enough pineapple.

Anyway - experiment, and have some fun!

We buy our beer, rum, wine, vodka etc... at Bristols in Marsh it is just behind the main digny dock in the harbor. You can't miss it. Very close to the stoplight. They also will deliver and put it right on our boat. There are quite a few other shops that have everything as well. I can't remember the name of the street of the store in Hopetown but it will be easy to find...once you get there.

A & K in Marsh gives discounts for multiple purchases of wine etc. (3 bottles is the minimum for the discount).

Lighthouse Marina in Hope Town, nice selection and GREAT people.

Lighthouse Liquor store in on Back Street in Hope Town... the same street where Vernon's grocery store is... and some other shops. Big selection.

There's a relatively new liquor store in the building next to Sapodillys in Marsh Harbor. Nice selection and very convenient to the harbor.
