Cell phones working

Hello, I've been trying to reach someone by cell phone (242 area code) at the Conch Marina. Are the cell phones back working today? Thanks, Fran

242 is the area code. 359 is an exchange for cell phones. It's been giving me a devil of a time! For more than I week I was trying to reach someone with a 359 exchange. Then I called a friend with a land line in TC with a 365 exchange, and got right through. It just might be a cell problem. Call Conch Marina direct, and see if that works. 242-367-4000

I have also been having problems getting through to one of my friends in Marsh Harbour with a cell for the past week with a 475 exchange. Like you say Patty it may be a cell problem.Hope it gets cleared up soon.

E-mailed my Abaconian friends, and they say that the cell phones are not working over there and the best way to reach way to reach someone is by a landline.Not sure if it is ll or certain ones.

Thanks to all who replied. Here it is more than a week later & I still haven't gotten through to a cell # in Marsh Harbour! Hopefully the system will be up & running soon.
