Anyone fly Island Express?

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with Island Express Airlines out of Fort Lauderdale?

We have flown Island Air Express at least 5 different times and never had a problem. The flights were pretty much on time and the flights were good ones. I don't like to fly, and I would not have a problem going on them again.

I will never fly those guys (IE) again. We are still fighting with them to pay us back for a flight back to and from Marsh Harbour from Ft Lauderdale back in June. They told us to buy tickets on FCA and they would reimburse us...their planes were down for maintenance. I hear this is standard practice. In fact several of the "cabbies" said they don't believe they have planes and that they have never seen an IE plane. They never answer the phone and won't return our calls. We have sent several faxes to thier phone number pleading (and threatening) for reimbursement. The only fax they ever acknowledged was the original sending of the contract with our credit card information (to charge us). Go with someone else...they seem cheap...but you get (or don't get) what you pay for!

Had the same problem, they still owe us $1400.00 from 2 years ago. We will never see it, we would never fly with them again. They have very very bad business practices
