the week of november 20th, look up chris at the regattas of abaco, and ask him to find keith, ailsa, brian, and marian. we are staying there, and like to meet new people.

Barbichon, I think Abaco is excellent for traveling alone. There are even times (when I start gettin' ornery) that my wife kicks me out of the house and says "see ya next week, I know you want to go to Guana". I've been several times alone and never been bored. Without another person to "entertain", it gives you a great opportunity to talk with the locals and make friends that will still be there when you make your 2nd trip. As for safety, the Abacos have a very low crime rate when compared to other popular vacation spots. If you're staying on one of the outer Cays (Elbow, Man o war, Guana, Green turtle) then the crime is almost non-existent. Abaco is not a singles hot-spot but other singles do exist so go, have a good time........ya might get lucky..ken

I am 40 yr old woman that has done it twice alone. Just returned from a solo trip to Elbow. No problems- no fears.
