Where To Stay in Treasure Cay?

Hello! We've been to the Abacos several times before, but never stayed in Treasure. I'll be there in early March to do some diving and need a place to stay. We'd prefer a 2BR, close to the beach and if possible Treasure Divers. Not looking for luxury, just something nice. We'll be there March 8-11, I think.

Water temps will be a little on the cool side, correct? Would a 3mm shorty be adequate or should I drag along my full 3mm?

Hi Marty

To be comfortable, I'd bring the full. Water temp is around 76/77 F that time of the year, and our bottom times are from 45 to 60 min each dive.

The closest places at an affordable price are either the beach villas or Mariner's Cove.

Treasure Cay Hotel is great and has a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo which was always great for our family when we stayed - been doing so for 12 years. It is at the Marina so you will be as close as you can get to the dive shop. I have never been diving with them (always wanted too), but have rented boats there - it is a very professional outfit. Avis at the hotel will take care of you if you want to make reservations. Mariner's COver is very close as well. Have a GREAT time - I have to wait until this summer to get back!
