4 nights in Hopetown

Hello. I'm a new member and have been to the Abaco's several times. Love it! This time we are bringing another couple and are looking for a place that would be ideal for 2 adult couples. We will be there for 4 nights only so this would eliminate all those places requiring a minimum of 1 week. In the past we've enjoyed the Hope Town Harbour Lodge but they are booked for a wedding on the dates we chose. Any recommendations?

Try Hope Town Hideaways at 242-366-0224. They rent the villas by the night.

From past experience, I highly recommend Abaco Inn; don't know offhand if they have a minimum.

I'd also go along with the Abaco Inn - stayed many times. Try and get a beach front cottage. They all come with a hammock - great for watching the shooting stars at night with no ambient light to interfere. Dont forget they'll also run you to town in case you want to dine in town.

Here is a tip I can pass along. Last year we were staying at the Lodge and there was a wedding going on. The Dining room was to be reserved for the wedding folks. I made our reservation at the Abaco Inn for that night but two days in advance. As folks were turned away from the Lodge on wedding day where did they head,,- the A.I. Most were disappointed as they too were now booked.

So if you stay at the A.I. book your dinner reservation early for the night of the wedding at the HTHL. Weird , I know
