used dog permits

If we got all the permits for our dogs in June do I need new ones to come back in December

Denny, the permit states, good for one entry and must be used within one year of issue. If it's been used once you need a new one. Here's the app and rules.
http://www.bahamas.com/bahamas/about/general.aspx?sectionid=56592&level=3 It used to be good for multiple entry's but good for only 90 days, we would get the permit faxed to us, use it for our trip, by the time we returned the hard copy was mailed to us and we would use it again. I guess thats why they put the one entry in the permit. Not sure they keep a log of the permit #'s so how would they know. Sure would be a pain if they made you turn around and go back home over a $10 permit. Probably best to get a new one.

We used the same permit for two entries this year but got a lot of questions from the customs officer in Marsh. I agree; its best to just request a new one and save the hassle.
