Wondering if anyone has any suggestions - my parent's best friends rented a house on MOW for our wedding - but we have just gotten a call to say that the renovations on the house are taking longer than anticipated and the house will not be ready by the time they arrive - so now we are stuck! We are looking for a house that sleeps 6 (3 couples, all adults -- aged 29+) near/on the water in MOW from December 23rd through the 3rd of January. Anyone have any thoughts, suggestions, anything?

Thanks

Have you checked Schooners Landing? I think they are just 2 bedroom, but if someone is ok with a sofa bed it could work. Or you could get two units. I think you can find them if you click on "lodging/places to stay" on the sidebar.

If you've lost your bunk on MOW, why not try one of the other islands. Guana and especially Elbow will have dozens, or even hundreds, of places to choose from. I'm sure you can find some really great accommodations. We've tried all 3 islands as well as Marsh Harbor, and I think any of them will satisfy your needs. tip

Did you try Outrageous? We've rented this huge, gorgeous house several times and love it. It has a giant Master Bedroom suite and three bedrooms and two baths downstairs. Great location too. Email me if you want more info. dillon99@comcast.net

We haven't tried outrageous - maybe we'll give it a shot - do you have contact info - as for the other suggestion about other islands - since we are going to be staying on MOW, and the wedding is on MOW, they would really like to be on MOW -- hopefully we can convince them to come down again and explore more (I'm sure that won't be much of a problem)

Water Way Rentals, which rents Schooner Wharf property, also represents a number of cottages & homes on MOW... try contacting Samantha there for more information. Edith Weatherspoon manages a wonderful rental on the harborfront, Uncle Johnny's. Sam Albury has rentals on Dickies Cay, across from the Sail Shop.
