Apparently "Moon" is moving forward?!

For those of you who read about the proposed gargantuan resort project "Moon" on Grand Bahama a few months ago and said "this can't possibly happen" -- please read this http://www.bahamasb2b.com/news/wmview.php?ArtID=4268 apparently it is moving forward!?

There is no way a project of that magnitude could be built there. I can't believe those companies would be stupid enough to put up that much money for this project. It would surely ruin the Abacos. The Bahamian Government is only thinking of the jobs the project would create but what a mess long term.

I wouldn't lose a whole lot of sleep over this. A rubber stamp from the Bahamian government just means they are allowed to proceed - it's not a guarantee of success. The business world is full of dreams and schemes that never got off the ground and with any luck, this'll just be the latest one on the pile.

I can't imagine what the government is thinking! The project if it could conceivably fly would be an environmental disaster.
