Hi Everyone,
Here's a little freeform crossword puzzle about Abaco that we created during a thunderstorm today.
It's a bit blurred on screen but if you print it out it's quite legible.
We'll publish the solution next week.
Hope you enjoy!

Hi Everyone,
Judging from the emails we got, most folks are hung up on 34 across. It's a place on the main island, and it's the opposite of what Pink Floyd said.
Hope that helps!

Wow. All that is left is lat/long soduku. Great job on the puzzle- can't wait to see the answers next week-some truly have me puzzled.

Haven't had time to work on the puzzle but took a quick look and the only solution that jumped out at me was 34 across:-).
Pink Floyd? A relative of Pinky Lee?

What is "20 across".....a letter is missing it is a "m" a blank, and then a "w".

Hi Everyone,
We got quite a few emails asking about 7 across and 3 down.
7 Across: "webshop" is a place where you can bet on the numbers game. It's totally illegal and yet pervasive and open just about everywhere.
3 Down: "Solomons" is a main grocery store. Almost all stores are fully stocked by Friday and you don't want to shop on Saturday because of the crowds, nor later because a lot of the good stuff is gone.
Glad so many folks enjoyed the puzzle!

I will print these puzzles out and give them to Mr. Marsden at ECC. He has a class of aged 14-16 year old very sharp kids. I will let you know how they do. Will also forward to the Language Arts Dept. at Forest Heights. You guys are great! Thank you so much!

I must confess that I had a lot of trouble with your puzzle. Could you please explain about "secretary and Peas n rice (42)"? Now that I understand your style better, hopefully I'll do better on the next one ;~)Thanks.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all your emails. Seems like quite a few folks enjoy this kind of thing.
Nancy -- thank you for the kind words! Looking forward to response by the ECC and FHA kids.
Big Fish -- yep, a few were a bit obtuse, but the difficulty in making up these puzzles is balancing the very complex with the obvious, and blending real "insider" knowledge with solving through sheer deduction.
We'll publish the next one when we get back home.
