i am going to be in Marsh Harbor with my British friends November 20 for a week.
1. any chance the Conch Inn, Mangos, and Wally's will be open?
2. should we plan to go to Nipper's right away on that sunday, or would some other night be ok, or better?
3. If we go to Nipper's for the hog roast, how do we get back? you know, the drinking and driving thing. is there somewhere convenient to stay there?
4. i hear the electricity in Marsh Harbor is off and on. Is this true? and any predictions whether it will be on by Nov. 20?

Welcome to the Board - Let's see if I can take a crack at this......
1. any chance the Conch Inn, Mangos, and Wally's will be open?
These guys don't normally open until around the first of November anyway but with the recent hurricanes I would not count on it. Maybe someone from Marsh might have a better answer. Sappodilly's does sit a good bit higher than Mangoes and is not right on the water like Mangoes so they could possibly be open, depending on the utilities conditions.
2. should we plan to go to Nipper's right away on that sunday, or would some other night be ok, or better?
If you have never been on a Sunday, you should go and enjoy the festivities and the larger "crowd" of folks. Nippers is fun every day. They are generally open no matter what. Although they were probably closed during the recent hurricanes, we were there last November during Tropical Storm Elliot one Sunday afternoon with 35-40 MPH winds and they were still open and doin' the pig.
3. If we go to Nipper's for the hog roast, how do we get back? you know, the drinking and driving thing. is there somewhere convenient to stay there? You can take the Ferry from Marsh Sunday morning and catch the last one back - probably around 4:30 that time of year. You will find that not many folks are out on the water at night.
4. i hear the electricity in Marsh Harbor is off and on. Is this true? and any predictions whether it will be on by Nov. 20?
The electricity around Abaco is often "off and on", but with repair efforts in play for a while, BEC may likely have outages from time to time as they have recently.
In any event, unless you are a sissy (Abaco is not for sissies as we say), you should have a fun time.

We've been here since December and the weather is best it's been all year. At this time in Marsh Harbor: Sapodilly's is open, Wally's should be open soon, Conch Crawl is open although the inside restaurant is not, Mangoes is working on it, Jib Room should be open by then,Humminbirds and restaurants downtown are open. Guana is almost fully operational except for Guana Seaside Village. There are log cabins for rent right next door to Nippers but I don't know if any place on Guana rents for single nights. If you don't make it for the pig roast don't sweat it, Nipper's is fun anytime. I highly recommend the frozen Nipper juice. Most of the restaurants in Hopetown are open. Electricity is iffy over here in the best of times. Come On Over!
