Hello
5 days and a wake up!! I am so excited. We leave Friday to drive to Charlotte, fly out early saturday morning, and will be in Abaco Saturday afternoon!!
We are staying at By The Sea, a house we have rented from Hopetown Hideaways. By looking at the pictures, it appears to be on the skinniest part of the island, down a little from harbour's Edge but on the ocean side. We like to walk and a mile or more is not big issue. (Just to give perspective, at home, we walk to eat downtown and its about 1.3 miles from our house.) How far is it to walk on the beach to Da Beach Bar? Is it a easy walk on the beach? I know there is one outcropping of rock. Isn't that the bar at Turtle Hill Villas??

It's about a mile I believe. It is at Turtle Hill Villas.

I stay by the Point and we've walked down to On Da Beach. The sign isn't huge, so keep an eye out so you don't go past.

They'll also pick you up and/or drive you back. Last time I couldn't find their phone number, so Theresa at Froggie's called them on the vhf to come get us.

Have a great time;
12 days to go...

You can't get around the "outcrop" of coral at high tide, but you can go over it. If that is too much trouble, walt to The Lodge and then go by beach from there.
