I will be visiting Abaco staying on Guana Cay. Can anyone recommend some some good places to eat? Also, what other seafood is popular beside conch? Thanks..
Will be arriving June 5 - 14th.

Good question. And not to highjack your thread but I've been wondering if there's a lot of fried shrimp to be had? (not sure if I'll be a conch lover)

Chartz,
We stayed on Guana in March and ate most of our meals at Bluewater Grill and Nippers - both were excellent, in different ways!

There are many restaurants on Guana. Art Cafe is wonderful. The food is great, clean and views of the bay from either the porch, or inside are spectacular. Also Blue Water Grill, Nippers, Love's Kitchen, Orchid Bay Restaurant. All have good food and all are just different enough from each other to want to go back! Guana is small enough that you can walk to any of these restaurants from almost any of the rental homes or resorts. Try them all and enjoy!

Let's not forget Sunset Beach Bar and Grill - IMHO best fries on the island and (we missed it), but guests tell us the Rib Night is great and Wednesday Potluck is my favorite night of the week when I am on Guana.

I'm amazed. My mother just used Internet slang. Wow.
I'm a veggie, but you really can't go wrong with fish anywhere, as long as you like it - and they'll usually tell you what the most fresh fish is.
Nippers.
The guys loved the hamburgers at Nippers. The pig roast is not to be missed, and in my opinion, worth the money (even for me, the veggie). The salads are very good as well.
The Pink House.
They usually have a variety of good meat-type foods (jerk chicken, salads, fish type stuff) that the SO always enjoys. I like the Mac n Cheese, but they haven't had that lately. They also have sammiches.
The Pizza Man (purple house)
The pizza is yummy, his sammiches are yummy. He even made me a veggie sub, so I was happy. Breakfast and baked goods are yummy, albeit evil (but in a good way).
Bluewater Grill
I love their tropical salad - it's big and fresh. We've done bar food and food-food, both have been delicious for everyone.
Guana Sunset
Jerry is a great cook, his breakfast sammiches are yummy (so I'm told), pot luck is an awesome experience and his rib night is to die for. Fries ARE good and the guys all love whatever they get there.
Orchid Bay
Never been, can't say.
