We will be cruising the Abacos for the first time over the next few weeks. I've been following the message board to try and get a feel for how everyone and facilities faired through the storms. My biggest concern is the availability of diesel fuel on the water. I understand Marsh Harbour has fuel. Can anyone give me a better idea of what to expect???

The fuel stations that didn't get wiped out are open and running. Being on the end of a dock for jeanne wasn't a good place to be - watch out for water in the fuel I have spent alot of time since jenne cleaning carburetors and draining water seperators to get water out of my fuel systems. There is so much you can here your motors start "pinging"

The best site for the current information on Marinas and Fuel is from
Skipper Bob at http://skipperbob.home.att.net/waterway.htm
You can request him to send you any or all of the following reports. They are the most up to date information available.

(1) The Gulf Coast Marina Report
(2) The Florida West Coast Marina Report
(3) The Florida East Coast Marina Report
(4) The Bahamas Marina Report
(5) The Okeechobee Marina Report
